Do I need to make an appointment to visit the shop?
The only day you require an appointment to try on wedding dresses is a Sunday when we are open 11am to 4pm. Monday to Saturday we are open 9am to 5.30pm and no appointment is required. Once you have placed an order you then are required to make appointments for all viewings and fittings of your wedding dress.

What sizes are your wedding dresses that I can try on?
We stock wedding dresses from a size 8 to a size 32, so you are sure to find a wedding dress to fit you.

How long will it take for my wedding dress to arrive once I have placed the order?
It can vary from designer to designer but the wedding dress usually takes between 12 to 20 weeks to arrive. However, if your wedding is sooner many designers will try to fast track wedding dresses to meet your requirements, this may incur an extra charge.

If I require my wedding dress immediately can I walk in and buy a wedding dress off the peg?
Yes we have many wedding dresses that can be bought off the peg as well as dresses that are only available to order.

Will I need to pay the full amount for my wedding dress when ordering?
No a minimum of 50% deposit is required before an order is placed, at the latest the balance of the wedding dress must be paid 20 weeks after the date of the order or at the first viewing which ever is the soonest.

What type of veils and tiaras can you supply for my hair?
We have a wide range of tiaras in a variety of designs with crystals, diamantes and pearls, veils in white, ivory and cream and also in delicate pastel shades, with a selection of lengths and adornments, as well as feathers and fastinators if you wish a different look.

Can you supply shoes or sandles to compliment my wedding dress?
We have a wide range of satin and silk shoes to complement your bridal dress or outfit. All our shoes can be hand dyed to any colour to match wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses or elegant outfit.

Do I need to bring anything special for the fittings of my wedding dress?
At all fittings of your wedding dress it is important to bring your bra, and shoes that you are going to wear on your wedding day to ensure we obtain a perfect fit for your wedding dress.

Do you charge a flat fee for alterations?
No we only charge for the alterations that each bride requires. We have a pricelist available in the shop and we will happily give you an estimate for your alterations at any time.

When will I have my appointments for my fittings?
Normally your first fitting will be 9 weeks before your wedding with your final fitting 3 weeks before your wedding. Occasionally you may need to attend more than 2 fittings if your dress has particularly intricate features.

Do I have to buy an underskirt to go with my wedding dress?
We supply a range of hooped underskirts and net petticoats to compliment the variety of styles of dresses that we sell. They are available for purchase or for hire.

Will you press my gown?
We do offer a pressing service for those that require it for a small fee.

I am looking for an outfit for my sons wedding I am a size 26 are you able to help?
Yes we stock outfits from a size 8 to 28.

I am searching for shoes and handbag in a colour to match my outfit can you help?
Yes we stock three ranges of shoes with matching handbags all of which can be dyed to match any outfit.

I find most jackets are too long in the sleeves do you provide an alteration service?
Yes we have our own workroom and provide an alteration service for all outfits purchased. Alterations are charged per the work done and we can provide an estimate of price before any work is carried out.

I have a purchased an outfit for a wedding but I am having difficulty finding feather to wear in my hair to match.
We have a wide range of fasinators and small hats which we can have dyed to match your outfit. We also stock a wide selection of hats.

Do you have outfits other than for mother of the bride?
Yes we stock a wide range of occasion wear outfits suitable for all wedding guests, garden parties, cruises and a day at the races. Also we stock a range of evening gowns to carry you through the changing seasons.
